  • Most Stella Polare journeys are planned 6 months in advance, especially for peak travel seasons and sought-after locations.

    Safaris typically require 12 months to adequately plan.

    Hotel-only trips vary depending on location, season, and hotel demand.

  • Aside from saving you time in the planning process and stress during your travels, we do have access to tangible perks from our preferred partners and the Virtuoso network.

    • Hotels - common perks are room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, and credits to be used for food & beverage, spa, or other services.

    • Cruises - examples can include shipboard credits, car transfers, welcome receptions, and access to special excursions.

    We’ll let you know of any potential perks when booking.

  • Yes. We can book private luxury homes and villas around the world. We have well-vetted partners who vouch for the quality of the homes.

    Please note that since we cannot adequately vet the quality or legitimacy of homes in Airbnb or Vrbo, we do not book stays through those channels.

  • Yes. Through our affiliation with Brownell Travel, we have a dedicated 24/7 air desk and can book commercial flights for our full-service clients flying in business or first class.   • Yes. We can book hotels for you so that you can get access to potential perks like upgrades, spa credits, and complimentary breakfast.

    Our minimum for hotel-only bookings is $500 per night.

    For DIY trips, I can share links to some trusted partners so you can book tours & transfers directly. These are well-vetted operators who are higher quality than what you might find on your own.

  • Cancellation costs and windows vary by supplier. Stella Polare Travel also reserves the right to charge up to a 15% cancellation fee. This is where travel insurance can be a blessing, especially if you opted for a “cancel for any reason” policy.
